Even if you're a small businesses or even a home office, you could benefit from owning your own building. There are large and small properties you can invest in - some may just be a home that is in a commercial zone, others may be full on warehouses, office buildings, or other opportunities you can make your own - or even become a business space landlord.

Investments in Short Sale, Foreclosure, Distressed, REO
This is a great time to buy. Why? Homes are on sale right now and interest rates and loan fees are still very low. With the bailout plan approved, you won't find these types of deals forever. Homes are on sale because many have been foreclosed on or have been short saled so regular properties (with homeowners not in distress) are competing against homes that are selling below market. Retail homes and new homes are trying to keep up. With so much in inventory buyers have their pick and sellers are making all kinds of concessions.
What the heck is a short sale anyway? Read this article to find out more. Or try Wikipedia version. Or Mortgage News Daily's version. What about buying a short sale?
There's a lot going on in both Oregon and Washington with the new laws pertaining to distressed homeowners. Before you venture out be sure you know the law!

If you're interested in finding bank owned (REO's), short sales, or other great bargains on properties I can set you up on a FREE search for Portland properties that match your criteria as far as price range, area of town, number of bedrooms/baths, etc. This system I have will search the MLS each day to find properties that match your specific criteria and then send you a list each day that something matches your desires. There is no obligation and the list includes the address so you can drive by at your convenience to decide if you have further interest in seeing the property. When you want to see the property, just give me a call and I'll make the arrangements. It's as easy as that.
